That is far down the list of possible causes. People who pass a large/bulky/dry or lumpy poop can trigger a scratch/crack near the outlet. The blood is bright red. Blood from higher up is partially degraded by gut action & darker maroon or even black in color.

Agree with Drs. P and F. If you have constipation and hard stools - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods.
