The most important thing to change high cholesterol is to change diet. I recommend the DASH diet. DASH Diet for Hypertension ISBN 9780743410076 Also get app Cronometer to track what u eat and your exercise. Set calories using book to get to weight you want. Discuss with your Dr.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your TSH suggests under active thyroid, and that can explain your weight gain and high cholesterol. Wish you good health!
