Finding its cause and treating or eliminating it would be the only way to get completely rid of postnasal drip.

It is usually a manifestation of chronic changes in the sinuses and may take time to resolve. If you have allergies, that needs to be addressed. You may try steam/vapor inhalations daily for a couple of weeks. If that does not help, it would be prudent to consult an ENT doctor. Wish you good health!
