When i had covid in november, my neck became swollen and prone to random bits of pain. i still have this now, 3 months later. is this common, and should i be worried at all?

It could be a symptom of long Covid syndrome; however, the symptom should be less intense as a rule. You should pay your doctor a visit if symptom has unchanged or worsened.

Did the swelling resolve and then return? If you have fever, sore throat or trouble breathing, please see urgent care. An allergic reaction is one possible cause. A rash and itching usually occur in this case. Post COVID-19 a number of symptoms and signs may occur and I agree that you should follow up with your physician.
