I have bilateral varicocele grade 2. i did the semen analysis and it passed the who criteria sperm count: 700 mil sperm conc: 200 mil motility:70% morphology:80% but i have 6/8 wbc hpf in semen. should i worry , also should i seek varicocele treat?

Significant leukocytospermia is defined as more than one million leukocytes per milliliter of semen; the number of white cells is not correlating well with true leukocytospermia. Yes, varicocele increases the risk of leukocytospermia but less likely causes fertility in your case. There is no absolute indication for surgery. You should wear athletic supporter and avoid prolonged straining.

Bilateral varicoceles are rare and if the diagnosis is correct it is great that you have a normal semenanalysis. ' WBC in semen are often misdiagnosed. I would suggest another test at different lab. Asymptomatic varicoceles with a normal semenalysis count need no treatment
