It often does: Enlarged veins in the scrotum (varicocoeles) can often lead to low sperm counts and male infertility. The heat from the venous malformation can decrease the sperm production dramatically which is often reversed when the varicocoele is surgically removed. See a Urologist for further assessment if you desire to preserve your fertility.
