I get severe pain in my lower left abdomen occasionally, i am incapacitated. it seems my body pushes and twists & then stops. i have told my gp, did mri and xray, no help there. over 2 years now, what specialist should i see, i am worried?

Would probably involve a gastroenterologist if pain believed to be visceral. A CT scan would be best to visualize abdomen and pelvis anatomy. Sometimes pain may be related to cramps or functional and a trial of meds addressing bowel spasms may help.
