When should you go to the hospital for kidney infections? i have been on several antibiotics for the last 8 weeks (cipro, keflex, co-amoxi) but 1 wk later the flank pain & nausea has returned but no bladder pain or fever. dont want to annoy my dr?

Your doctor has the best knowledge of your case, and even if you may feel like annoying him or her, he or she remains your main reference and being able to coordinate locally in case an admission might be needed to a local hospital.

A doctor who gets annoyed with his patient who asks question is not worth keeping. In your case you should be seen by a Urologist for proper exam, testing and treatment. Pl do that
