A member asked:

Can a non-union be treated on its own, without surgery? how long after the original accident should it be treated? (this would be related to breaking the humerus.) had a cat scan exactly 6 months after the original accident (a fall) that revealed it?

It rarely happens after 6 months of injury to my knowledge. Bone fracture should be treated as soon as possible for appropriate healing.
