Dr biopsied a 3mm wart - he said it looked irritated. it came back as endophytic verrruca with focal keratinocytic atypia. is this a somewhat common finding in warts? could the trauma from picking at it a lot cause atypia?

It is not a cancerous lesion, you have nothing to worry.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, these are not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!

Had a spot removed in my face that came back as a wart with atypical keratinocytes. I had been picking at it a lot. Could these atypical cells been caused by trauma? Pathologist didn't see any 'trauma' but i had been picking at it months earlier?

I kept picking at a small wart on my forehead- I went in to dermatologist and he did a biopsy as it looked inflamed. Path report said wart with some atypical cells. Could this be from all the picking I was doing? He said it wasn't cancer. What cause?
Warts or something else , gyn couldnt tell what it was because I had nicked them a couple times. Went to get them removed had a biopsy. They said its benign nothing abnormal. Pap came back normal. Could I still have HPV if biopsy shows Benign?
