Does a regular wart (not gential wart) have to say koilocytes on pathology report? report said it was an endophytic verrucae. but didn't see anything that said koilocyte on report?

Different pathology labs may use variable terminology. And path reports are intended for interpretation by the doctor, not patients. Check with your doctor about the meaning of the report.

Dr biopsied a 3mm wart - he said it looked irritated. It came back as endophytic verrruca with focal keratinocytic atypia. Is this a somewhat common finding in warts? Could the trauma from picking at it a lot cause atypia?
