My doctor found out something on my mri the mri result says. there is a 3- to 4-mm rounded lesion of the upper medullary bone of the l2 vertebra which is of indeterminate etiology. im wondering what cause of this problem and do i have to worry abou?

Blunt trauma hand bone injury over 3 months ago. Normal x-rays and mri but the swelling has not improved much. I use my hand daily with kt tape and a compression glove. Doc says to give more time but my hand still throbs w/o tape. What should I do?
