Normally, we all have small sized lymph nodes typically the size range is 5mm or less. In the groin area they can be slightly bigger and be considered normal up to 10mm. So you should have her examined by her PCP periodically to see if they grow anymore and exceed 10mm in size when a biopsy may be indicated.

You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
