I have heart palpitations from time to time is it safe to take pepcid?

Although I've never seen it despite knowing many patients who took it, Pepcid has been reported to cause cardiac arrhythmias. Firstly I think you should undergo cardiac monitoring to determine if your palpitations are caused by arrythmias and, if so, how serious are they. If not serious then you could take pepcid as needed to determine if it causes or aggravates your palpitations.?see cardiologist

You will likely be OK taking Pepcid if so prescribed, starting with reporting your palpitations to your primary care doc would be best so that you have proper work up. If indeed you suffer from heartburn or reflux symptoms other treatment options can be discussed.
