Peoples breathing rate varies depending on the activity they are doing. During eating, we can breathe less due to chewing and swallowing. If you are concerned, take a few deep breaths and remeasure. Most of the time, the SPO2 will go back up. It is not indicative of any problem if it is only for small periods of time. Persistent measurements under 94% or shortness of breath would be a worry.
