My doctor told me that earplugs are not good for your ears. if i wash the inside of my ears daily with light water, and get them checked by my doctor every year, would it be alright to wear ear plugs everyday? if not, are there better solutions?

I believe that your regimen is a good one if you have no pathology in your ear canal. Otherwise your ENT specialist will have to advise you further.
