I wear large ear plugs every night to bed. 33 decibels. my ears are itchy everyday. should i be concerned! and long term effects with wearing?

There are some risks: associated with prolonged ear plug use including suboptimal draining of ear wax. This may lead to ear wax impaction with associated tinnitus or ringing in the ears. There may be a small increased risk of ear infection. Regularly clean ears to encourage earwax removal. Make sure your plugs are clean; replace them regularly. Your itchiness may be a sign of some of these problems already.
