Ear canal : The skin overlying the ear canal is very thin and sensitive. If you have an abrasion, you can rinse the ear canal with a normal saline solution twice daily and try to keep the area open to air and clean. Allow the abrasion to heal on its own without any Q-tips or other instruments that may stirrup the abrasion and keep it from healing.
