Low but not necessarily a problem if you feel well. Cardiac output is heart rate x stroke volume (the amount of blood pumped with each beat), so hearts with strong hearts and high stroke volumes don't need to beat as fast to maintain the same output. Of course, if you don't feel well it is always a good idea to get checked out, and always a good idea to get checked periodically either way.

Pulse rate of 47 is low for a man of any age. Make sure that this is not a medication effect(for hypertension) but need an ECG to determine whether this is simple sinus bradycardia of a more complex problem such as sinus node dysfunction, frequent premature beats or heart block. Please see a cardiologist for history, exam and ECG to start with. Good luck.
