Impossible to say: since you gave a very specific pulse rate - 101 - I would guess that that is a one-time reading. Were you at rest, or was this after usual activity, or some strenuous activity> Are you are cigarette smoker and was it after a smoke? This is a high pulse, if it is anywhere near your average pulse. Take it at different times of day and with different activities. If it remains high, talk to your MD
