3 days of cough. i started taking antibiotics and cough syrup since yesterday. no to less cough during day and standing position but as i lay down in bed a bad episode of cough starts, that goes for most of the night and cant sleep. history of pul tb?

Many if not most upper respiratory infections are caused by viruses, which antibiotics don't treat. I hope you have talked to a physician and are not self-medicating. You should have a GP that knows you and that has baseline testing data. If not, find one. If you can't, at least go to Urgent Care (and bring a list of every Rx/OTC/recreational drug that you put into your body.
