If your blood pressure is consistently over 130/80 see your physician who will evaluate you, instruct you in lifestyle changes and institute medications when appropriate. Follow-up appointments are also important.

Do you have history of hypertension or you've just found out your BP is high? We need more info for a correct advice. If you have been treated, what medication you have been taking and what the current BP is. If you are never treated, what is your current BP and was the high BP confirmed?
