Pulse pressure is 20: Theoretically, the systemic pulse pressure can be conceptualized as being proportional to stroke volume, or the amount of blood ejected from the left ventricle during systole and inversely proportional to the compliance of the aorta, the difference b/t the two numbers is normal about 40. 20mmHg is too low. Retake it a few times, If it remains with a high diastolic of 90 or above, see your doctor.

Yes...but: Blood pressure is a variable feature of body mechanics.It is sensitive to variations in your state of excitement or worry, dietary practices, activity level,etc. It can vary from hour to hour and day to day.That said, if you are keeping a lower number in the range of 90 on several different readings over several days you should be checked out.
