A member asked:

Should i be concerned if my blood pressure stays high after exercise, higher than before exercise. why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cool down: There is a physiologic sequence to BP changes immediately following exercise: first it rises, then it gradually falls to levels below baseline. To see the full effect, take your blood pressure once a minute for the first 10 minutes after exercise while you remain lying down at complete rest (better yet, have someone else check it for you).
