I have been treated for scabbies with ivermectin and permethrin. it seemed to have gotten rid of them but i still have itching .my scalp a itches like crazy with no rash no real rash ,looks like hives and occasional clear blister . is this norm?

I'm so sorry! Itching is awful! Scabies can itch for 2 weeks after treatment, have to wait for all the scabies bugs and eggs to not only be dead but to be completely gone. Antihistamines like Loratadine in the day or diphenhydramine at night can help. If it has been longer than 2 weeks, I would look for other causes including things like eczema.
