Yes: The question of whether you can have scabies is simple...Yes. These infections typically involve 4-6 mites. They can cause amazing rashes. You can do a shaved skin bx for diagnosis or find a burrowing tract. I've been fooled several times by scabies so its not a total no-brain er. Ivermectin oral or Permethrin topcal is used to eradicate it.
