Yes, it is safe. You can take 650 -1,000 mg every 6 hours as needed, do not exceed 4,000 mg in 24 hours, preferably taking less than 3,000 mg in 24 hours.

Do not take more than 4 g in one day, No alcohol. Get Covid vaccine in 6 weeks or so. Also get a Flu shot.
