Unsure: There appears to be a doctor in virginia and one in florida. There has been a lot of talk about this proceedure over the past 10 years. Essentially you use a laser to break the floater in small pieces and hopefully it will not bother you or settle out of the way. Do internet search "yag laser for floaters". My opinion at this time - wait a year, and if still a "big" problem consider vitrectomy.
