I did a home urine test and have leukocytes and nitrites. yesterday also blood but not anymore. the symptoms started 3 days ago but yesterday started to improve and are very mild now but i still have nitrites. what to do now? can i treat it at home?

You have not given adequate information like why are you doing home urinalysis. The strip tests are usually taken along with other information to decide whether to treat with antibiotic. You may want to talk with your family doctor because indiscriminate use of antibiotics could be dangerous for the future so could not adequately treating ongoing urinary tract infection.

You can drink plenty of water, avoid sex for a few days and if all your symptoms are gone do not worry about nitrites. One treats symptoms not a blood test. If symptoms persist see a Urologist
