A member asked:

I have a pain thats not that bad in the lower part of my stomach on the left. i had an upper endoscopy a year ago does that check that part? thank you. it doesnt hurt bad on a scale of 1-10 its maybe a 2-4. it doesnt stay long. thank you?

If you are truly talking about your stomach, upper endoscopy checks that. If by stomach you are actually talking about your abdomen then colonoscopy would check that. It is not unusual that gas or constipation may cause transient pain. If pain persist you may consider physical evaluation rather than speculations. What was in your stomach a year ago may also be different from now.
