If you are truly talking about your stomach, upper endoscopy checks that. If by stomach you are actually talking about your abdomen then colonoscopy would check that. It is not unusual that gas or constipation may cause transient pain. If pain persist you may consider physical evaluation rather than speculations. What was in your stomach a year ago may also be different from now.
