Are biopsies of stomach lining generally checked for lymphocitic gastritis? had follow up endoscopy from a different surgeon, 4 years after diagnosed with lyg by gastro and advised all clear. negative for h-pylori both procedures as well?

The biopsies are put under a microscope and looked at by a pathologist so, yes, if you had lymphocytic gastritis, that would be identified by the pathologist. You could have the pathologist that looked at your current biopsies look at the results from 4 years ago and compare it to what he saw now, if that was not done. Often, they do look at prior results, if they know about them. Good luck to you

Yes, if biopsies were taken of the stomach, lymphocytic gastritis would be noted if it were present. The pathologist always confirms whatever is visualized under the microscope. Good luck.
