If the size of the larger tonsil increases by more than 50%, an ulcer forms, the tonsil bleeds, you get fever, lose weight, lymph nodes in the neck become large, see a doctor. Wish you good health!

We are not perfectly symmetric. Not unusual to have 1 tonsil larger than the other.Question is threaten infection or is tonsil size causing other anatomic abnormalities. Please ask both your Physician snd your Dentist to examine as each has a different sphere of expertise/attention.
