I have a persistent cough that has lasted over 10 years and i have an unknown infection could this be related?

If you have no other symptoms, no shortness of breath, no sputum, no fever, normal growth from the age of 12, your cough may be psychogenic and it may be useful to consult a psychiatrist. Wish you good health!

The quality of the cough is important If you have you have triggers such as pollen exposure, your cough may be related and asthma or post nasal drip. Allergy testing is recommended. Watch for shortness of breath , exercise intolerance and dizziness.
