T of 99 or above is considered low grade fever. Because this fever has persisted for one month, underlying problem should be ruled out if the thermometer is accurate. If you currently use a thermoscan, you should use an oral thermometer to compare. If the fever is true, see your doctor for ruling out occult problem.

I agree with Dr. Le's advice. Do you have other symptoms such as chills,night sweats,body aches,weight loss, fatigue,cough or poor appetite? . These would raise concerns about a serious medical issue.
