How long can a ear ache after a person yelled in it last? it hasnt gone away in a day so far and its really. bothering me?

Tinnitus or transient hearing impairment may occur after the ear is exposed to a unusually loud noise but earache is uncommon, especially just a yelling. It could be coincidental. You should have your ear checked if pain persists the next day. You can take Ibuprofen OTC 200 mg x 2 or 3 tablets q 6 hours as needed for a couple doses.
