Is it safe to take 0.5mg xanax 5 days in a row without worry of withdrawal or dependancy? seeing how its a small dose i should be fine to not take it tomorrow since its been less than a week right? and it wasnt abused and 1mg was taken once?

I wouldn't expect any physical withdrawal symptoms, but some would note a psychological dependency. I doubt you'll have such dependency because of your insight you've demonstrated in your question.

The safest to take meds remains the way they are prescribed. Withdrawal is not likely at low doses but a pill coping mechanism may form and be detrimental in the long run.
