A member asked:

Good evening doctors. i had the sars cov 2 ab ((igg) spike, semi qn. the value was 1.43. i understand that this means that i have antibodies. what does the value/number 1.43 mean? is that a good, ok, not good number?

Usual antibody tests are not useful. Very few labs can do neutralizing antibody testing. If have taken Covid-19 vaccine, do not fret about antibody level. If you are not fully vaccinated, get it done post-haste.
