It is imperative that you see your doctor who may refer you to a psychiatrist. You may need to take medication, however, the medications are high risk substances and need to be managed by an expert in treating such disorders. Wish you good health!

As Dr Singh appropriately points out, the typical medications that control panic attacks can be habituating or even addicting. Yet they may help initially. A psychiatrist will be needed. Some helpful therapeutic approaches could also include cognitive-behavioural therapy and/ or biofeedback.
