How do u know if you have fecal impact or is it constipation? some days i have liquid stool leaks and some days i don't, help, enema uses help?

It's true that liquid feces can leak out around a fecal impaction, but it's characteristic to have urge for a BM with associated abdominal cramping which can be severe. Abdominal distension my also be present. Impactions require manual removal by a health professional if soap suds enemas aren't successful.

Constipation 75% of the time for years. Even soft stool is hard to push. Leaking liquid stool sometimes (especially if nervous). Deep pain in gut suggesting constipation, even for some soft stools. Evidence for internal prolapse? Or just constipation?

I am severely bloated and cannot pass stool unless it is very small balls. I have been constipated for months and my doctor says to use enema. I don't want to keep using them. Colace (docusate sodium) doesn't do much.
