My sister has hpv(12other positive) facial warts (just got removed by laser treatment). is hpv facial warts contagious even without sexual contacts? holding hands or touching objects that she touches can be dangerous too? can she hold my newborn baby?

Facial warts are unusual in adults. Is she immune deficient? At risk for HIV or tested for it? Indirect contact (i.e. shared objects) are unlikely to be a risk for transmission, but direct could be, and she should be very careful if she holds your baby -- and no kissing the baby. If she is immune deficient, perhaps a high HPV viral load, i.e. easier transmission. Discuss w/ baby's doctor.
