I have a recurrent seromas since mom hip failure. i have had the whole capsule removed 10 times. can edema in my thigh create a seroma or are they unrelated?

seroma is collection of RBC free blood whereas edema is fluid accumulation in tissue space. So technically they are unrelated. You should ask your Ortho for the cause of this problem.
