For the past 2 days, i have been sneezing a lot with mild runny nose and congestion. my husband who is fully vaccinated and my toddler are not sick. i have my first dose of covid vaccine. should i get covid tested or is this more likely a common cold?

This is hard to label without testing. If covid activity is low in your area it may not be worth checking, if high or surging it may be worthwhile. At your age the symptoms if any may be mild. You are not in the age group where some of the therapeutics would be offered unless you were sicker, but then they are only given if you are not on oxygen/in the 1st 10 days.

A PCR test is recommended to determine the next steps in your management. Drink fluids,rest. monitor temperature and self isolate for now. Have a Flu vaccine now and a second COVID 19 vaccine if negative, and wait two months if positive. Watch for sudden changes in breathing.
