What are the first few signs of lichen planus or lichen sclerosis when it starts to develop? is it the itching that comes first or the discolouration of skin that comes first?

Usually it is the itching which starts o on violaceous areas and scratching the area makes it more prominent and discolored. It can occur at any area in the body.
