Lab values should be interpreted by the doc who ordered them and knows the history and exam findings of the patient. Your post of a random number without units of measure or the rest of the test is hard to assess. In general liver function that shows a low protein is the bad finding as it shows the liver is not functioning well enough to make proteins. On the higher side is generally good.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your value is in the normal range. Visit this site for info: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK204/ Wish you good health!
