I was in an angled head on collision struck on my side by a vehicle going approximately 35 mph one week ago. i have intermittent neck pain that shoots down my shoulder and up my head. should i keep ignoring this?

Absolutely not, please go and get it checked out carefully. Pain is a warning sign that should not be ignored. Let you doctor take a look and then you will know better how to deal with the situation. It may be that you have twisted something and just need a little physical therapy. Get Checked.

Do think that your persistent symptoms would benefit from intervention. See a physiatrist and check out possible neck disc problem or even thoracic outlet issue. Early treatment can turn around
