It is likely that a branch of the ulnar nerve got injured, numbness may last indefinitely, relatively common after such injuries.

Most likely digital nerves impaired, but they will likely regenerate. However, could take several weeks, as speed of resolution from site of laceration is 0.1 mm daily, or speed of fingernail growth.
