A 48-year-old female asked:

my outer elbow is sore on left side and left ring and pinky finger stay numb. its not the ulnar side elbow that hurts. is there anything serious that can cause this? what could it be?

It sounds like you are experiencing discomfort around your left elbow associated with numbness in the same side pinky and ring finger. The nerve that controls sensation for the pinky and ring finger is the ulnar nerve. The most common locations where people may experience irritation to this nerve is at the wrist and elbow. I would suggest bringing this up with your primary and/or a neurologist.

This could be a result of inflammation around the tendon in the elbow. If this symptom has been persistent for at least several days without improvement, I would definitely recommend in person care.

Cooking oil: While there are lots of remedies, the one that worked the best for me was cooking oil. It is edible and easily absorbed into the skin. I would apply a small dab on the nipples after nursing. Worked really well.

See below: The lump can be do to the trauma that caused the bruise. I would not be concerned, unless your son starts developing bruises without trauma.

Need more info: Why the paralysis? Acute stroke demands careful evaluation of cause. Trauma to brain or spinal cord needs time to heal. When medically stable, a course of controlled excercise and directed therapy is appropriate. Bracing and casting may be involved as part of the therapy program.
