Just found out i had throat cancer symptoms for about a year and a half. just persistent sore throat and frequent needing to clear. no cough or difficulty swallowing. i have had cobblestone throat for just as long. could it be the cancer?

See an "Ear, nose and throat" specialist for a careful exam. A clinical exam, possibly with a biopsy, can provide an accurate assessment and answer all questions.

At your age, cancer is unlikely. The "cobblestone" appearance is from increase in the amount of sub-mucosal lymphoid tissue, from chronic inflammation. It would be prudent to consult an ENT doctor to address chronic infection or allergy. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
