Almost none: Cancer is very rare in people under the age of 30 years. So that is the last condition I would think of to cause you the symptoms of throat irritation and cough. It may be left over from a head cold or sometimes it is due to acid reflux. Try to ignore this symptom for now and see if it goes away on its own as it is nothing serious. If it gets worse, see your PCP for a check up.
