What can cause flat red spots on child's arm that together form a line about 2 inches long and 5mm wide over a vein. it is flat and doesn't turn white when pressed, no pain or wormth no other symptoms doesn't recall injury?

Something that localized is likely a scratch or a scrape, which may be recalled or not in a school aged child. If the skin is intact and there is no pain, allow up to a week for the mark to fade partially.
